Start Again

My little boy is getting bigger everyday. I have always heard people say, "They grow up too fast." Little did I know this is so true and really hard and also exciting to see. He is only 9 months old and already I don't even see the same little bundle I brought home in January. I just hope he knows how much I love him! I am so blessed with this time I have been able to spend with him, but I think it's time to get back to the "real world".
I am getting ready to launch a new chapter in my commissioned scrapbooking business. I am ready and waiting for this holiday season to start...all the gifts...memories...and new beginnings! I really can't wait!

Some more pages for clients

I did these pages for a client who had so many pictures. We couldn't decide which ones to not use so...we used them all. It was quite a challenge to get through each page. I used hidden pockets, interactive pages, and much more. The challenge was met...and I had a blast figuring it all out.

Album Cover Design

This album was made for my client. She wanted a very specific look to her album. Her mother's favorite flower is magnolias. I attached a silk flower and some beautiful ribbon to the front along the side and a wonderful family quote in the center. I think it adds a more personal touch!

Invite

I had a baby shower with a tea party theme. I decided a nice complement to this theme would be a semi-casual floral design. The rustic touches of the paper give it a nice warm tone. The flowers give it that girly touch I longed for, as I was having a boy I did not think I would be doing to many girly things in the years to follow! The party turned out to be a complete success!

Memories from the Past

I was recently working with a very special client of mine. She is such a joy to work with, and I hope to continue scrapbooking her memories. The pictures she has given me are just fabulous...old and new...I can't wait to see what else she brings me!

Starting A Blog

I have officially started a blog for any of those cah-razy folks who may care what I have to say...or perhaps are just bored enough to read about it...
I think trying to get my name out there in the "crafting universe" is harder than I thought it would be...perhaps this new addition to my life will help...
We shall see...
